Our KS1 & KS2 Curriculum
At Great Finborough Church Primary School, we believe that every child deserves a curriculum that inspires curiosity, nurtures a love of learning and prepares them for the future. Our ambition is to develop enthusiastic, confident and passionate learners, equipped with the knowledge, skills, values and experiences they need to flourish both in school and throughout life.
Across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, our carefully planned curriculum builds progressively on children’s knowledge, understanding and skills, providing a strong foundation for future learning. It follows the requirements of the National Curriculum 2014, while offering a rich and engaging range of learning opportunities that challenge, motivate and encourage every child to achieve their full potential.
We believe that learning should extend far beyond the four walls of the classroom. Through exciting trips, residential experiences, outdoor learning, enrichment activities and meaningful real-world experiences, we bring learning to life, helping children make connections, develop new interests and discover the world around them.
Our curriculum is reviewed regularly to ensure it remains relevant, ambitious and responsive to the needs of our children. As a Church school, everything we do is underpinned by our vision: ‘Rooted in Faith; Enriching Young Minds’, ensuring that our children grow not only academically, but also socially, emotionally and spiritually.
