About Us
A School Steeped in History
Set in the picturesque Suffolk village of Great Finborough, Great Finborough Church Primary School has been at the heart of the local community since 1873. Built during the Victorian era, our beautiful original school building is a treasured reminder of the village’s rich heritage, with its story continuing to unfold as generations of children have learned, grown and made lasting memories within its walls. As the school has evolved to meet the needs of modern education, new classroom buildings were added in 2000 and 2014, thoughtfully expanding our learning environment while preserving the character and charm of our historic beginnings. Today, our school brings together the best of both worlds: a building rich in history and a vibrant, welcoming environment filled with modern learning opportunities, curiosity and adventure. Proud of our roots and excited for the future, we continue to build on the legacy of those who came before us, nurturing every child to flourish and preparing them for the next chapter of their journey.
