Public Sector Equality Duty Objectives
Great Finborough Church Primary is aware of the requirements of the Equality Act 2010 and our Equalities Policy sets out our commitment to meeting the requirements of the Act and the ways in which we aim to achieve this. Having carried out an evaluation exercise, we have set the specific objectives for 2025-29:
- To support the attainment and wellbeing of Looked After Children to enable them to achieve to their full potential
- To continue to carefully monitor the needs of our SEN children and ensure appropriate assessment processes and resources are in place for them
- To keep our Behaviour Policy under review ensuring it reflects the reasonable adjustments needed to support our SEND children
- To provide playtime facilities to meet the emotional needs of SEN children
Actions we are taking to comply with the Equality Duty
