Following our recent SIAMS inspection (January 2017), we were graded as ‘Good’ with our success at meeting the needs of all our learners as ‘Outstanding’.

The right candidate will:

Be a qualified teacher – we welcome applications from both NQTs and experienced teachers.

  • Be confident in planning, teaching and assessing a mixed year-group class.
  • Be prepared to work flexibly with a small, hard-working and committed team.
  • Have a clear understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
  • Understand the importance of using the interests and needs of the child as a basis of planning.
  • Have an excellent knowledge of using observations and assessments to inform planning.
  • Be able to create exciting learning opportunities that inspire our children.
  • Be willing to support our curriculum enrichment programmes.

We believe passionately that to be successful learners children must first feel safe, be in good health both physically and mentally, feel supported, encouraged and nurtured by staff and parents and have high personal self-esteem enabling them to feel excited to learn both independently and as part of a community.
