School Farm and Country Fair

In summer 2023 Years 3 and 4 attended the School Farm and Country Fair at Trinity Park as part of their DT work. There were lots of exciting things to see and do.

A man talked to us about deer

and showed us some antlers.

The air ambulance was there.

THere were displays of local produce, such as this apple juice.

UK Power were there talking about electricity

and you could play a game about finding the danger in a picture.

There were lots of big farm machines:

tractors,

combine harvesters

and mini diggers.

There were displays like this one showing how combines work with tractors and trailers to collect grain.

Of course there were animals too. Heavy horses being groomed and dressed,

prison dogs showing off their detection skills,

and goats.

We loved the sweet calves.

People from the coastguard were there
