| have been involved with schools for nearly 20 years now having been business manager at Great Finborough Primary for a number of years as well as taking on temporary roles in other primary schools and serving for 10 years as a governor at King Edward VI in Bury St Edmunds while my children were there. I currently work for the St Edmundsbury and Ipswich Diocesan Multi-Academy Trust which brings together 21 Church of England Primary schools of varying sizes. My role there includes a variety of areas including school liaison and acting as the Trust’s governance professional and gives me a continuing understanding of the challenges schools face. I have returned to a governance role because I believe strongly in the importance of providing a good education for all our children, building strong foundations for the future. | |
