Architect Visit
As part of their DT work in Autumn 2022 Red class enjoyed a visit from a parent who is an architect. They took part in a ‘3 little pigs design challenge’, looking at how houses are designed and built, linking this with the story of the three little pigs.

Some children made houses of straw.

We had to measure and cut.

We explored some options using Lego.

Sticks were a good building material.

So were the clay bricks.

When we had finished we used hairdryers to see if we could ‘huff and puff and blow our houses down’
