Great Finborough Church Primary School is committed to providing good quality sports provision for its children. We aim to ensure that the children enjoy a range of different sports, and regularly invite sports professionals in to our school to provide tuition, both as part of the curriculum and as extra-curricular opportunities. As part of our Year 4-6 curriculum, we also provide sports tuition at a variety of other venues including Finborough Private School, Pipers Vale Gymnastic Centre and Battisford & District Cricket Club.
We believe that competition in Sport is important, and the children build on their achievements in school by competing in a number of Intra-school & Inter-school tournaments. All children also have access to an annual school sport festival and our older pupils participate in an annual inter-school sports festival against local primary schools which is organised by the Stowmarket School Sport Partnership.
Our PE and Sport Leader is Mrs Tapia (Class Teacher).
